15 Weird Questions Answered ♡

What is a nickname only your family calls you?
Ever since I was really young my family has called me lotbot, it came from my primary school nickname lotty which left me when I moved on to secondary school. My family were soo lovely that they even wrote me a rhyme to go with it, lotty dotty who had a spotty botty still uses a babies potty. That's my loving family for you! Luckily they've grown out of the rhyme.
Do you have any weird phobias?
MASH POTATO! I have the biggest phobia of mash potato! I can't eat, look, smell or even be in the same room as it without gaging or going into a panic attack, I'd say you couldn't get much weirder than that! My friend loves to through cotton wall at me saying it's mash potato just to laugh at my reaction.
What's a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when your alone?
I have two one more recent than the other. When I'm feeling down I love to blast out Happy by NeverShoutNever which always seems to cheer me up! And the more recent one is Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen which I've adored every since it came into the charts.
What's one of your biggest pet peeves?
Hmm.. Well cutting them down to one is hard so I've picked out two, my main one is table manners, I have curtain expectations that need to be carried out at the dinner table and I hate it when someone doesn't have very good table manners. My second one is when someone rocks or taps a foot, I like people to be sat still, for example I'd be sat on my bed with a friend and they'd be constantly wiggling their leg in a rhythmic why! It drives me crazy!
What's one of your nervous habits?
I always play with my collar bones when I'm nervous or my neckless if I happen to be wearing one.
What side of the bed so you sleep on?
I always start off by sleeping on the left side but often find myself in the middle spread eagle when I wake up in the morning.
What was your first stuffed animal and it's name?
I once had or I say once I do admit I still have it but my first stuffed animal was a stuffed snail with a rattle in the center of the shell and I names it Brian.
What's the drink you always order at Starbucks?
It depends on the time of year as in the winter I always like a good old classic hot chocolate but during the summer it always used to be a chocolate frappuccino but now it's the amazing cookie crumble mocha :) Mmm.
What's the beauty rule you preach but never practise?
Drink water! I'm always raving about drinking water and how good it is for your skin and health yet I rarely do it! I live on flavored sparkling water!
Which way do you face in the shower?
I always thought everyone faced the same way in the shower but after watching tons of YouTube video's turns out they don't! I've always had my back to the shower as I don't like water on face :/.
Do you have any weird body skills?
Nope, I'd say I'm a pretty boring person in terms of my body skills.
What's your favourite food that's bad but you love to eat anyways?
Chocolate of course! I love it! Who doesn't, although it's worse for me than others as I'm lactose intolerant :( sad times!
What's a phrase or exclamation you always say?
I always say everything happens for a reason as I truly think it does and haven't been proved wrong yet!
Time to sleep... What are you actually wearing?
Trackie bottoms, oversized t-shirt, oversized hoodie :) Happy times.

E.L.F Beauty Book ♡

IN THE PHOTOS:
GEL EYELINER - MAC IN BLACK
MASCARA - TELESCOPIC CARBON BLACK BY LOREAL PARIS
EYELID PRIMER - E.L.F IN NATURAL
PALETTE - E.L.F BEAUTY BOOK IN THE NEUTRAL EYE EDITION

I've been looking for a palette for a while and when I came across this palette on the e.l.f website it was a must have! I usually stick to neutral colours for my everyday eyes so I had to pick the neutral eye edition but there's also a bright eye edition, smokey eye edition, glitter eye and smoky eyes (which different to the smokey eye edition).

The palette is really good quality especially when paired with eyeshadow primer which doesn't necessarily need to be e.l.f's primer. The palette is only £6.00 so it's great for money as e.l.f's single eye shadows cost £1.50 and there's 12 in this palette. The palette comes along with a applicator and eyeliner and although I've used the eyeliner a few times I prefer my bobbi brown or MAC eyeliner as it takes a few coats for the e.l.f eyeliner to show but that may just be because I'm used to gel eyeliners. The applicator that comes along with it is actually very good but I do prefer to use a brush so I usually use either a rounded drugstore brush or on a applicator day I use my bobbi brown applicator.

I really recommend this product and all the other products mentioned! This palette really has changed my makeup routine.

My experiance with Proactive ♡

So everyone has different experiences with proactive and I'm one of the many who loved it! I've re-purchased and re-purchased this product and plan to many times again.

I have acne prone skin and have suffered from acne since I was about 12 years old and I'm now 2 months away from being 18 so that's a long time to have acne and a lot of money spent on concealer! When I first started getting acne I used to cake on the concealer and foundation until you couldn't see any of my floors and I didn't realise how bad this looked until I look back at photos and videos. I was never orange but in fact the opposite I was so pale I looked lifeless.

I did this for many years until I was about 15 when I started to consider acne laser removal and did my research. At this age I never had any money so the laser removal idea didn't stay around for long. I can remember researching other options when the proactive advert can on while I was watching TV and I popped it into google. When I looked at the price I went off the idea but my mum offered to buy the first lot as it's a good price if it works and when I thought about it, it worked out £10 a bottle which is actually really good.

When I came home and found the white box outside my door I was so excited and that day really changed my life! After just a couple of days I could already see an improvement to my skin and my confidence grew. I could finally walk outside without spending an hour on my makeup just to pop to the super market. After a couple of weeks my skin was amazing! I still get the odd spots here and there but never have I gone back to the state I was in.

I now only use proactive every now and then and have a separate face routine for the other days and nights which I'll speak about in a separate post.

I hope my review has helped but just because it's worked miracles on my skin doesn't mean it'll do the same on yours but it's worth the try!

Who's behind the screen? ♡

So who am I you may ask?
Well I'm just a typical teenager who reads 100's of blogs daily and is currently trying to start one of her own. By saying I read 100's of blogs daily it makes me sound like that's what I do all day! Well I do sit behind a computer all day 5 days a week - I guess that's the down side of doing a computer course at college! It sounded like a great idea at the time! No more long hand writing but since starting the corse around this time last year I get migraines often and have been prescribed glasses! Glasses look great on some people but I'm not one of those lucky few. I always wanted a pair of those 'geeky' glasses that seem to be the craze at the moment but
instead I get some plain brown frames from the £30 range as I get them free because I'm in full time education! FUN TIMES!

In this blog I'd like to review products, do tutorials and answer any questions or advise! Really hope to hear from you soon!

Anyway I'm off to bedibyes now so I'll catch up tomorrow peeps!
